Totally Hip!

I was looking at a blog today and on it was posted a few photos—"decorating with plates". The author deemed it an up-and-coming trend. And I thought, "Way to go Mom!" She's been decorating with glassware for a while now. (Mom, I just had to share the news that you are officially hip!) HERE are some photos from home.

A Bit of Christmas

Here are just a few of our Christmas photos. I hope you all had as good a time as we. It was nice to be home. We watched movies, played games (very loud ones), ate food, ate food, ate food and did a little bit of yard work. Loved it all.

One of the very many treats during the holiday break—homemade soft-serve blizzards with your favorite choice of candybar. The machine grinds it all up and it's ready to eat—and it certainly inspired a popular pose.

Back in Time

I'm cleaning out my camera from the holidays, so before we blog about Christmas, here are a few images from our Thanksgiving trip to Kansas. More images taken by other people can be found HERE.

These are all taken at the World War I monument. The architecture was quite appropriate for the subject—cold, dark, and a little bleak, but gorgeous. The Tower (top left) closed before we had a chance to visit the top.

Also a BIG apology to Adam's family. I took pictures of you but none of them were clear enough to post; I'm a tripod girl who forgot her tripod.
