Two years ago, we went to Lake Tawakoni, and got rained out after about 18 hours.
This time, our evening was great, complete with a walk to the beach, campfire, great food, smores and Mom and Dad Moon drove up to spend the evening with us.
The night was another story. Lightning, rain, wind, and cold. We ended up wearing ALL our clothes underneath our pajamas, and left as soon as breakfast was done the next morning.
We will have to try Lake Tawakoni a third time. Maybe.
