After the Thunder

The sky was on fire last night.

Later, the clouds were lit by the moon.
Stormy Texas skies are like nothing I've seen. (Adam, thanks for driving around while I hung out the window, staring at the sky like a lunatic.)

Whatever Shall We Do with Our Day Off?

BBQ!!! Hamburgers (which we added some of our own flavoring to), grilled corn on the cob, grilled sausages (three different kinds), and delicious fresh grilled pineapple.
For yummy pineapple: Dip in coconut juice, then dip in sugar and cinnamon mix. Then grill. SOOO good. (We tried both a brown sugar mix and a white sugar mix. The white mix was the best in my opinion.) And we don't want to leave out all the other homemade food that made it to the table. Thanks Mom and Dad and Larissa and Dayne!
And of course, the activities included water—and us in it.

Adam asks, "Is this white trash of us?" I answer, "Nah, only if we were in the front yard."
And the dunking begins...
No one is off limits. Even Mom.
Ready. And go!
I'm racing against super woman.

I only went a couple of times...but helloooo, it's fun. So next time I'll be spending a lot more time on the slip and slide.
And that's not all...we had homemade dessert and ice cream while watching a projected movie outside. What more could you ask for when hanging out with family?
