Hare Krishna!

We went to the festival of Colors (Annual Holi Festival) at the Sri Sri Radha Temple in Spanish Fork today. (Click here to view a video from last year. Hare Krishna, Rama Hare!)
The festival is to welcome in the spring. As soon as the effigy representing winter is lit on fire, we start to throw colors. (It's colored powder.) When we are covered in colors it symbolizes "one people", no difference in race or background. For a small time we are one people welcoming in the spring. Hare Krishna!

WE WENT . . .

WE CHANTED . . .

WE WATCHED . . .

WE LIT ON FIRE . . . (well, we didn't lite on fire . . .a fire was lit.)

WE GOT COLORED! HARE KRISHNA!

We're moving!

Adam just signed papers today and we're moving to Texas! Right now my idea of Texas is just a big jumble of tornadoes, heat, and bugs. Oh yes, and don't forget that bold flag. This is new for me, but I am looking forward to an adventure.

Anna is feeling . . . unsure • Adam is feeling—do we really need to say?

New Night: Improv Comedy

For the shamrock holiday we watched Thrillionares at the new Covey Art Center in Provo. And yes, we all wore green. The show was entertaining. The first half was Shakespearian. The second half was musical improv with actors breaking into song. It had an Irish flare, with jigs and potatoes. I would recommend Thrillionares if you're ever in town. It's different every week and its participants are clever.

Silver Award!

My opening spread for an article in the Tahitian Noni magazine Tradewinds won a silver at the ADDYs —Advertising Competition—last week! Woohoo. (I've been the creative lead for over a year on this magazine, it's going great.)
I believe the competition was just for the Mountain West region. This piece now qualifies to compete in the next round which includes a larger region.
So a big thanks to Murray Kimber, the illustrator, and to Kelly Nield for his art direction. Way to go team.
